Your driving examiner will discuss the results of your test at the testing centre at the end of your test. The length of the test will depend on the licence code you are applying for. Saturday tests are available to help reduce driving test wait times in areas of high demand.
DKT online is now available
A country cap status may be ‘open’, ‘paused’ or ‘closed’ during a program year. Where there are no unseen practice materials available candidates will have the option of a full refund or taking a previously seen practice test again. To pass the CCL practice test, you must achieve a score of 63 or more, and at least 29 marks in each dialogue. You have the option of paying to take a practice test which will be assessed by NAATI examiners.
You will not receive a refund for non-attendance or cancellations after the scheduled start time. You are eligible for a refund of 75% of your test fee if you cancel your test at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled start time. You will need to reject your test session in myNAATI and then select another test date.
Prepare for your test
Once you pass the DKT you can apply for your learner driver licence. You can now complete the DKT at home or wherever you best online casinos can get online. Where there is high local demand, we offer in-person Certified Provisional Interpreter tests as an alternative option. All online tests are scheduled and listed in Sydney/Melbourne time (AET), you should ensure you check how your time zone aligns with the time listed.

Long pauses may result in marks being deducted, particularly if it results in the total test recording going for longer than 20 minutes. If you need to use another form of payment, you must return to a transport and motoring customer service centre on a weekday during opening hours to get your licence. If you pass a driving test on a Saturday, you can pay with EFTPOS and get your licence on the day. You must make your booking at least one week before your test date. If you are over 25 you don’t need to complete a learner logbook before booking your test. A test review means that a separate examiner will mark your test again, and the marks from all examiners will be taken into consideration to determine your final result. You will receive either a pass (63 or over, including more than 29 marks per dialogue) or fail (below 63, or less than 29 marks in one or both dialogues). Each error will result in a different number of marks being taken off, depending on how much it impacts on the overall communication. NAATI uses an online proctoring program called ProctorExam to make sure all tests are valid and are sat by the correct person.
